Luftwaffe Tropical Tunic (Tropenfeldbluse). In late 1940, with the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for DAK personnel's arrival in Tripoli in February 1941. Originally the tropical uniforms were only intended for wear in North Africa but that was later expanded to include personnel serving in southern areas of continental Europe during the summer months. The light weight tan cotton construction field blouse is complete with an original applied Luftwaffe tropical breast-eagle and a pair of LW EM Shoulder Boards and it's a good medium size. Inside marker Markings are present. It also has one set of Loops for an Award. The tunic is in clearly worn and sun-faded condidion see photos. This tunic would be great for a Crete Paratrooper display as well. (Awards are only for display and not included)
